  • Improves the performance of the content analysis by reusing previously built HTML trees across assessor runs, related-keyphrase passes and research calls instead of rebuilding the tree for each.
  • Passes shortcodes to the Insights analysis data for more consistent analysis result across application.

Bugfixes​

  • Fixes a bug where the recently modified posts were fetched twice when using the Content Planner.

Other​

  • Adds the web-server family to the server data collected for opt-in tracking.

Introduces Yoast SEO Abilities API, allowing AI tools, dashboards, and automated workflows to automatically read SEO, readability, and inclusive language scores from your most recent posts. Read more in the release post.

  • Adds a Yoast ability for retrieving scores for Yoast analyses for recent posts, using the Abilities API.
  • Adds Qatar to the list of available countries for the Semrush related keyphrase suggestions.

Bugfixes​

  • Fixes a bug where the AI Generator's "Generate with AI" feature failed after a site's domain was changed, because stale callback URLs remained registered with the Yoast API from the original domain.

Other​

  • Introduces a performance increase when calculating if the SEO optimization is completed for internal links. Props to @adconecto.
  • Removes the schemamap line from the robots.txt file.

  • Fixes a bug where table backgrounds in the RSS settings and Semrush related keyphrases tables would expand beyond the rounded corners in Firefox.

  • Relocates the introduction notification to point to the Yoast SEO tab within the Elements panel sidebar of the Elementor Editor for better user guidance.

  • Fixes a bug for users who have the Site Kit integration enabled, where a fatal error would be thrown for edge cases, like when custom code intervened with the default WP login flow.
  • Fixes a bug in the Settings page where the advanced tab would close when selecting one of its options or other options after visiting the advanced tab.

Other​

  • Adds a button for using AI to generate custom an SEO title or meta description in the pre-publish sidebar of the block editor, if all recent posts have been using default SEO data.
  • Adds the Yoast siblings and subpages premium blocks to the Yoast custom blocks menu tab in pages.
  • Improves performance when author archives are disabled and an author is created. Props to ErikBrendel.
